Meet the people ready to work
Bring your organization to a hiring event in Greater Minnesota. Share your open jobs, training or services on your own booth page, and connect with people in the communities you serve.
There is room at the table for
Employers
Farms and food producers, manufacturers, contractors, clinics, schools, public employers and local businesses with jobs to fill.
Training providers
Colleges, apprenticeship programs and trainers who help people qualify for the jobs in the room.
Services and agencies
Workforce, disability, veterans, childcare, housing and transportation services that help people start and keep a job.
Vendors
Local businesses selling food, goods or services at the event.
From application to follow-up
Apply on the event page
Choose a package in Exhibit, vend, or sponsor, tell us about your organization and what you need at your space, and agree to the event’s terms. You get a booth code right away.
We review and confirm
Organizers approve applications and assign booths. When a package has a fee, you can pay online securely or as the organizer arranges.
Build your booth page
Sign in with your booth code to add your listing, logo, open jobs, links, files and videos, and the people from your team who will be there. You can add your own security code that only you know. Print a booth sign with QR codes that take visitors straight to your jobs.
Pages lock for an accessibility check
Booth pages lock 7 days before the event so every page can be checked before visitors arrive. After that, the organizer can still make changes for you.
Event day
Visitors scan your QR codes, save your team’s contacts, and can send you a message through the site without seeing your email address.
After the event
Your booth page shows how many people viewed it, scanned your codes and messaged you. Tell us how it went, and see the success stories people share about your organization.
Help every visitor read your booth
Your booth page checks your content as you build it and tells you what to fix.
- Describe each image in a sentence (alt text), not with its file name.
- Write link and button text that says where it goes, like “Apply for welding jobs”, not “Click here”.
- Use captioned videos, and PDFs that are tagged and readable, not scanned pictures of pages.
- Keep paragraphs short and avoid writing in all capital letters.
